time

last year i took an online class taught by the incredible heidi swapp. in october her theme was time for yourself.  as i was looking over my materials from last year, this quote she provided really jumped out at me.

"it is only possible to live happily-ever-after on a day-to-day basis."
margaret bonnano

what if each morning i greeted the day with a determination to make it part of my happily-ever-after story?
how different my perspective on the daily struggles and triumphs would be.
in fact, it could be quite entertaining.

"....and on this day  i finally conquered the laundry routine. never again will i be troubled by quantities of clothes awaiting my attention. at last the secret is revealed!"
or
"....and they never argued about discipline again."

but really, i see this as an opportunity. you know how something can suddenly draw your attention even if it has been there all along? i do believe that you can create your own self-fulfilling story. it just makes sense that if you focus on positive things you become more positive yourself

my happily-ever-after looks pretty marvelous already.
it can only get better.
