it's tricky to figure out how to ride that new big boy bike. no training wheels!  it is a little big. we miscalculated. well, he'll have it till he's 10!

practicing on brothers bike. though he is two years older, his bike is 2 inches smaller. hmm.

sunday walk. i prefer those walks we take without bikes and scooters.

excellent homeschooling. sorting puzzles and putting some in 'storage'.

field trip to the river. hot day. dirty feet. the bike path was treacherous.

i know he looks special. he just really likes his helmet. i put flames on it.
