my blue italian lake

i've been avoiding it, but i should post about my computer troubles because when i look back in 6 months i will be so grateful for my working computer! i haven't been able to upload my pictures because this good old mac mini needs to be fixed. but the price of fixing is almost what it would cost new. but we need a bigger computer than that anyway. so for the past 4 months, we've been patient with the random shut down of the whole thing. its getting worse now, and i'm getting 15 minutes of computer time before it shuts down. AGGRAVATING. so, no new pictures. painful word processing. patchy net searching. the kids never play games on it, and we hardly ever have music anymore because it is all on

this sweet little machine.

getting the mac was such an adjustment for me, moving from a pc. it took a long time to learn to use it because i just didn't have the time to put in. so i learned as i went. whenever i wanted to do something new, i looked it up in our handy mac apps book we bought, and figured it out. i'm still figuring stuff out, 5 years later. but i do love it.

i feel like posting something a little more fun.
