we visited turtle bay

with our cousins in redding.

we were surprised to find that a t. rex named sue was on display there. 

(she's really famous)

we played with electricity, looked at bees, 

and fish that swim in the sacramento river.

we saw a lego recreation of sue

we visited 'paul bunyan's forest camp'

and watched some animals get fed

we got to feed some parakeets and they landed on our hands

b got a big one - a cockatiel?

we went inside the 'butterfly garden' 

the other b clutched the guide and identified every one we saw.

this one helped his brother identify too

also enjoyed but not pictured: homemade chocolate truffle ice cream, tri tip, movies and wii, late night chats, swimming, a dog and kitty cats.
