i don't have much time left

it seems like forever but i know it will fly by. at least until the last unending no, i still haven't had the baby yet thanks for asking week or two.
i haven't organized the closets.
i haven't planned our school orders and classes for the fall. (one of the last things i'm sure i'll want to do in august)
i don't have any little tshirts or burp cloths or even a baby car seat. (f got the dregs of those and now there isn't much left)
in a few weeks we'll get out the bassinet and clean it up. we'll wash the sheets and see what blankies we have. (not many left i think)
there isn't even anywhere to put those tiny clothes. we need a new dresser too!
i always look forward to the nesting time when i have lots of energy and get a lot done. i think we were all sick! and then we went to utah.
so now i grunt whenever i lean over and i get claustrophobic in the laundry room (it's so narrow and crowded). if i sit on the floor crosslegged to get some sorting and organizing done i feel funny when i get up.
i just didn't realize how quickly time was passing and how very few days there are. (it could be as little as 6 more sundays)
i even forgot until 3 am last night that i'm supposed to get my homebirth supplies ready. oops.
there's so much going on in life everyday that the future things get postponed until they have to be noticed. because they're not future anymore.
i have a list a mile long of projects i'd like to do before the baby. some are easy, some are time consuming, some are probably not going to happen.
the litigator's so good about it. i always make a list and he gamely helps me check them off, even when i'm sure he thinks i'm making extra work for us! and there's always a room i want to paint. but there's nothing like a lot of pressure for getting stuff done.
and there's no pressure like knowing that you'll soon have 6 kids. except for maybe when you know you'll soon have 7.

EDIT sorry to be confusing, no we are NOT having twins, as far as i know!
