2. twice in the last week the litigator has talked me down from a mommy tantrum. he's so kind and patient with the kids, making up for my lack of those things.
3. yesterday the midwives reminded me that the baby would be considered full term in 2 weeks. um, what now!
4. bought a 50 lb bag of flour at costco today. b had to help me heave it into the cart. it took some ingenuity to get it from the cart to the car. there it sits, waiting for the litigator to retrieve it. i forgot that shopping at costco is a joint effort at 8 months pregnant.
5. my peonies are almost ready to open. growing them myself creates so much anticipation. i love all my flowering plants that have stuck with me despite my bad care, but watching a delicate pansy or flashy daisy is just not the same as waiting for those luscious peonies to say hello.
