i turn around and days pass by.

1. painted the girls room monday. the litigator did all the hard work. i respect his work ethic. mine is more along the lines of 'hurry up and get it done'. and that is why we have to do a second coat in some areas.
2. our doggie is getting so old and is becoming quite spoiled. he'll eat fresh oatmeal or scrambled eggs. turns up his nose at beef unless it's actual people food. eats a little and waits a while before he continues.
3. relative to #2. we have rats again. we have to give rusty a time limit for food and take it away so we don't have fat furry visitors perching on his food dish.
4. took the litigator out for dessert last night. of course L came too and attracted so much attention. he makes it hard to have a 'private' date. he crows and flings things and people rush to assist.
5. flummoxed over all the high school decisions. who knows what she'll want in 4 years? how can you make a plan for a person who is still becoming a person? there's a fine line between taking it seriously and taking it too seriously.
