9:30 a take them out for donuts and chocolate milk

10:40 a get sunburned (its 80 degrees)
12:30p drive around looking for a wendis/frosty's because we're parched and none of us won the 'free drink if you make the 18th hole'
2 pm attempt quiet time 2 out of 4 boys prefer to ignore quiet time
3:30p take boys minus L to friends to play
3:35p start sewing tutus for swan lake
4:15p take L on a tour of ballet studio in attempt to calm
4:25p remove bits of string from L's pincher grip
4:30p remove L from under table where he has backed himself into a tight spot
5:45p retrieve boys from friends. she feeds them/me/all of us waffles (superfriend!)
6:45p take L and F on a drive to davis to meet the returning shakespeareans
7:30p wandering around target, which is a pleasure, with 2 cranky under-4s, which is not
9p phone call 'we're running late and won't be there for at least another hour and a half'
9:05p call litigator who tells me to return
9:20p after a few rousing chorus' of 'my life is a gift, my life has a plan' f is out like a light
9:50p trade off car and cell phone to my hero and put sleeping boys in bed
