2. komodo chicken stole little L's cookie. it was very traumatic.
3. we read all about china in ancient times. i'm so grateful for my laptop, in seconds we could see the terracotta warriors, the great wall and calligraphy samples. also my 'teacher book' is a pdf so i don't have to lug around a giant book and i love to instantly print maps.
this is how i feel about my bathroom right now
4. i forgot to start the crockpot. so we had costco taquitos. i keep meaning to make my mom's chicken taquitos but it takes a loooong time.
5. i got my first peony, from a new variety i planted in october. it's a raspberry, no a ruby pink. it's fluffy and full. it was hidden by some surprise poppies so i cut it and it's in my kitchen just glowing with gorgeousness.
6. ran out of nutella. ran out of sour cream. ran out of blackberry jam. ran out of milk. ran out of patience.
7. L said big brothers name. it sounds a lot like bed but if you listen carefully you can tell which one he's talking about. 'bedt' vs 'bahyrdt'
8. f spent 20 minutes in the back yard trying to get chicken poop off his toes. eventually he turned on the hose and patiently sat with it running over his foot til he was clean.
9. a spent almost 2 hours playing basketball on the driveway. miss b played horse with him and they had so much fun. i love it when my kids are friends.
10. read alma 2 when the lamanites oops nephites and the amlicites joined forces. boy it was exciting! it was one of the quietest scripture readings we've ever had.
11. spent an hour carpooling/driving for activities today. and this was a quiet day. it stinks.
12. the kids ate leftover bbq for lunch. they were so very happy.
13. it's 8:15 and only 2 kids are in bed. the scouts just got home and the ballerina is still dancing. i'd like to punch my time card and read a book.
not from today but very funny. L loves photo booth.
