she's such a joy. we all can't resist watching her every move, cooing over her smiles and gurgles, making ridiculous noises and faces just to hear her giggle. she has been sleeping through the night since her first week and we can count on her being OUT around 10 every night. she's had a cold for 2 weeks and wakes me up every night snorting but she doesn't wake herself up. she loves to lay on sister's bed under the rainbow play silk and watch it sway. in the last few weeks she's grown increasingly skilled at getting her hands to her mouth and stares intently at them. she prefers to be upright and be walked around and more than anything to see a happy face nearby. at dinner tonight she sat on my lap and stared at L eating his dinner - and gurgled and laughed at him as he ate completely unawares. she has the best swirl on the back of her silky soft hair and we can't decide if she'll be blue eyed (like 5/9 of us!) or hazel (like 2!). i am especially grateful for the softness i see in my older children and the pure sweetness she brings to my days.
