The most invisible creators I know are those artists whose medium is life itself. The ones who express the inexpressible—without brush, hammer, clay or guitar. They neither paint nor sculpt—their medium is their being. Whatever their presence touches has increased life. They see and don’t have to draw. They are the artists of being alive. - J. Stone
doesn't this just sum up what life as a mother should be. in my perfect daydreams, i just burst that art of being alive every moment. it is true that i reach that level at times. some people who know me think i reach it often - because if you leave out the low points it does appear that you are living on a higher level. but only you can know the struggles and triumphs of your own soul. i struggle to rise above the dailiness of life with children, to show them how enjoyable and fulfilling life can be. i've felt it, and i want them to know how to create that in their own lives too.
