i hosted a baby shower for some friends newish babies. ok, they didn't look like newborns anymore. but they are still tiny and cute. in fact neither one of the babies actually came to the party. we used the freezer paper stenciling technique to decorate some tees. this is one of the most rewarding craft projects i've ever done. having creative friends makes all the difference. last time i tried it i didn't get nearly as amazing results.

in other news, last week i went for the big grocery shop. when i came home, it was to this.
they didn't leave a blanket or sheet unturned. i let them keep it up all week but it nearly killed me.
i was also requested to display our workbox system. this is part of b's. i love them dearly.
and i wanted to show this to my mom. is that so bad? i had a lot of fun putting it together. and the tiny painting is from b to me 2 christmases ago.
a started a soccer class. he has been waiting for this forever. at least a year and a half.
the best part is, his little friend p gets to take it with him. yay homeschooling! and yes, a wears that soccer uniform, passed down from s, ALL THE TIME. he luurves it.
birthday celebration for dad. a talent show. they performed a song.
it was the only photo i got of b. he preferred to be on the sidelines, acting as silly as possible.
demonstrating the drop kick - f has good form. he really can do it. he just kicked that ball straight up. a shows off his dribbling, b read a poem she wrote herself.
lastly, for the first time we went to see a 3D imax movie. it was 'whales and dolphins'. it was magical.
