4. molecular science experiment - you CAN smell mint extract through a balloon! (they thought the almond was marzipan, though they couldn't figure out how i got it inside the balloon).
5. basketball shooting contest.
6. reading about the indian in the cupboard and tin-tin.
7. historical review of yesterday's chapter. b#2: 'william the silent is glaring through the window at the king, who doesn't see him.'
8. quiet time with playmobiles, books, and 'vintage' martha's kids magazines.
